Single Tube - Interior Gap Filler – SikaSeal® Acrylic

This is a premium, paintable interior gap filler designed to seal cracks and joints before painting.

We exclusively use SikaSeal® Acrylic because it adheres properly, tools cleanly and sands smooth once cured, exactly what home renovators need.

It’s a flexible, water-based acrylic sealant made for low-movement interior joints.

What Does It Do For Me?

It fixes the stuff that makes a room look unfinished.

This gap filler:

• Seals cracks between skirting and walls

• Fills small movement joints around windows and doors
  

• Creates clean paint-ready lines

• Stops draughts through internal gaps

Instead of painting over cracks and hoping for the best, you seal them properly first.

That’s what gives walls that “new build” finish.

Why We Use Sika

There are plenty of cheap acrylic fillers out there. The problem is they shrink, crack or don’t adhere properly.

SikaSeal® Acrylic:

• Bonds to brick, concrete, plasterboard, timber, aluminium and painted surfaces

• Has excellent adhesion to common construction materials

• Can be sanded once fully cured for a smooth finish

• Is paintable with water-based paints

• Cleans up with water before it cures

It goes on thick, doesn’t slump out of vertical joints, and gives you enough working time to tool it properly.

• Skin time: approx. 15 minutes at 20°C

• Paint over in approx. 3 hours (water-based paints)

Important

This is an interior acrylic gap filler.

It is not designed for wet areas or high-movement expansion joints. For bathrooms, showers or exterior applications, you’ll need a silicone or polyurethane solution.
