The Big Breeze Stopper Kit – Exterior Weatherproofing System

There is no point heating your house in winter if the warm air is whistling straight out the gaps in your window frames. And there’s nothing worse than finding ants marching in through a crack in the cladding.

The Big Breeze Stopper Kit is your complete defense system for the outside of your home. We designed this to tackle those large exterior jobs. Sealing up drafty window frames, door frames, and deep expansion joints where the weather gets in.

Exterior gaps are often wider and deeper than the ones inside, which is why we’ve included 10 metres of 10mm closed-cell foam backing rod. You push this into the gap first to create a solid backstop. This prevents the sealant from slumping into the void and saves you from wasting tube after tube trying to fill a bottomless hole.

We’ve also swapped the standard filler for three tubes of heavy-duty, weatherproof Polyurethane sealant. This stuff is tough and UV stable. Our Prep-It cleaner gets rid of the outdoor grime, and our Smooth-It lubricant stops the sealant from sticking to the tool, giving you a clean, professional seal that stands up to the Aussie sun.
