Single Tube - Wet Area Sealant – SikaSeal® Kitchen & Bathroom

This is a neutral cure, waterproof silicone sealant designed specifically for kitchens, bathrooms and wet areas.

We use SikaSeal® Kitchen & Bathroom because it bonds properly, tools cleanly and creates a flexible seal that handles water, steam and movement.

It cures by absorbing moisture from the air, forming a tough but flexible waterproof barrier.

What Does It Do For Me?

It stops water getting where it shouldn’t.

This silicone:

• Seals showers, baths and basins

• Waterproofs splashbacks and benchtops

• Seals around plumbing penetrations

• Resists mould growth

• Stays flexible instead of cracking

If your current silicone is peeling, mouldy or shrinking, this is how you fix it properly.

If you use an interior gap filler here, it will fail.

SikaSeal® Kitchen & Bathroom has a movement capability of ±25%, meaning it stretches and compresses with the joint without breaking the seal.

It’s also:

• Neutral cure (low odour, safer on most materials)

• Non-sag (stays where you put it)

• Mould resistant

• Suitable for interior and exterior wet areas

And once cured, it handles temperatures from -40°C to +150°C.

Adheres to glass, enamel, ceramics, tiles, most metals, plastics, rubber, concrete and grout.

(Not suitable for certain metals like copper.)

Important

This is a wet area silicone.

It is not paintable and should not be used as a general interior gap filler. For skirting boards and paint prep, use our acrylic interior gap filler instead.

For best results, remove all old silicone fully before applying new sealant.
